The Eastern Canada Leadership Retreat (ECLR) is an annual leadership development conference. It is hosted by a different university each year. In 2010 ECLR will be hosted by the Sprott Business Students’ Society at Carleton University.
In 2009 Laurier University held ECLR. It was an unmitigated success easily surpassing all previous events in terms of logistics, execution and quality of content. The event has previously been hosted at McGill University.
ECLR was created as a smaller intimate conference, dissimilar to the large annual conferences such as RoundTable and NBSC. The focus of ECLR is to introduce new executive members of our member societies to one another. Work on personal and professional development. ECLR is also a forum which allows schools to plan inter school events for the upcoming year.
If you are interested in getting involved with ECLR, whether as a speaker or a student society please contact Darryl Moyers at vpconferences@cabsonline.ca.
