CABS: What motivates you to get out of bed every morning? When I am in Guelph at school or Toronto for work, doing what I love is what makes me get out of bed every day. Work doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do. When you love what you do, it makes it easy to get out of bed every day and put in everything you can. Make what you do FUN and it will be a whole lot easier for yourself, and people around you.

CABS: If you had to switch to a field of study other than business, what would you choose, and why? We also asked Michelle some more fun questions to get…

Michelle: If I was a kitchen appliance, I would be a blender. A blender allows for many things to come together to create something great! I think I am really good at managing the strengths of many individuals to create some sort of synergy.

Michelle: When I am home in Pickering, my dog Spark motivates me to get out of bed every day. He wakes me up with so much energy, it makes me feel like I have to join him! Spark has brought so many joy to my life to the point I want to spend every minute with him.

Michelle: I have always considered working in the services industry, such as massage therapy, or being a dental hygienist. I think this is because I feel better when I make other people feel better. If I was to pursue this career, I would most likely be pursuing a diploma that best suits that profession for the hands-on experience.
