About Woods Homes
What began as an orphanage in 1914, has grown into a not-for-profit, multi-service charity serving the most troubled young people in the community.
Often, Wood’s clients are in our social system with no quick-fix solutions. Yet, Wood’s is determined to never give up.
Currently operating more than 21 programs of care, treatment and education, Wood’s works with many other agencies and community resources in dealing with more than 400 youth and their families each day.
To maintain sustainable funding to support vital services for children, youth, and families and create the long term financial stability essential to advance Wood’s Homes profile in the community as a recognized leader in innovative programming.
Woods Homes offers a wide variety of formal and informal programs, such as crisis stabilization, family preservation, adoption support, and youth shelters.
