The CABS Awards are an annual awards program designed to celebrate excellence with business students and business student associations. Nominees are promoted through the general membership, and voting for each award is completed by the CABS Leadership Team.
Awarded to the Business Student Association President who gave their heart and soul to their BSA this year. Through supporting their team and their student community, the president of the year exemplifies passion and dedication to their students and will leave a lasting legacy on their BSA.

Awarded to the Business Student Association executive who best exemplifies passion, dedication, and going above and beyond their typical role or job description for the betterment of their respective business school student communities.
Angela Lawrence – Asper CSA (University of Manitoba Commerce Students’ Association)
Awarded to the Business Student Association executive who best exemplifies passion, dedication, and going above and beyond their typical role or job description for the betterment of their respective business school student communities.
Conner Sceviour – UNB BAUS (University of New Brunswick Business Administration Undergraduate Society)
Awarded to the top associate and subsidiary club of CABS Member Society as nominated by their parent association. This award aims to recognize a subsidiary club who saw large improvement, made meaningful contributions to their student community and had a significant impact this past year. All subsidiary and associate clubs will be judged based on nomination description and overall performance on the year.
Edwards’ Queer Students Society (University of Saskatchewan)
Awarded to the CABS Member Society that made the biggest strides with respect to their management and execution of their operations in the current operating year.
Hill Business Students’ Society (Hill BSS) – University of Regina
Awarded to the CABS Member Society or Associate Club that has created the best new event or service offering that was run in the current operating year and brought the most incremental value to its business school student community.
First Stride Networking Gala – LazSoc (Wilfrid Laurier University)
Awarded to the CABS Member Society judged to create the meaningful initiative that promotes wellness to students that brought the most incremental value to its business school student community.
TRSS Food Insecurity Project (Toronto Metropolitan University)
Awarded to an Alumni of the CABS circuit who, during their time in the circuit and after leaving it, have significantly contributed to the betterment of business student life inside and outside the CABS circuit and who continue to uphold themselves as model members of their communities and are ambassadors of the CABS circuit and brand.
Marina Felix – Carleton University (Sprott School of Business)
Awarded to the CABS Member Society that made the biggest strides with respect to their management and execution of their operations in the current operating year.
BASS Thrift Shop (Simon Fraser University)
Awarded to the 5Days campaign that showcased innovation, engagement, dedication, and impact in support of Canadian youth experiencing homelessness.
UVic Commerce Students’ Society
