By Paige Cey, CABS F2021 Director of Media Outreach Earlier this fall, the Canadian Association of Business Students hosted our first virtual conference, the Virtual Canadian Leadership Retreat (CLR). This event is a great opportunity to learn from incredible industry leaders, gain new skills and resources, and network with the amazing BSA executive community. While conferences may look different for the next while, we feel lucky to have the opportunity to virtually meet and engage with our BSA leaders across Canada.  The conference planning team was extremely creative with making the first virtual retreat a huge success! As with any CABS conference, the delegates had a lot of fun socializing. By Mitch Bellefleur, CABS F2021 VP External and Executive VP After many long discussions, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CABS Board of Directors had to make the difficult decision to cancel the first conference of the fiscal year, the Canadian Business School Conference (CBSC). However, while the conference was not able to be hosted in person this year, that does not mean that students lost out on the value! In place of CBSC, CABS planned a Summer Series which culminated with the first ever Virtual Canadian Leadership Retreat. Here is a recap of what took place throughout the summer! Given that students are returning to an unfamiliar environment, the CABS Leadership Team wanted to take some time to give students some general reminders, as well as information about some of the initiatives CABS will be putting on this Fall! Digital Exhaust and Mental Health One of the main points of feedback the CABS team heard throughout the summer, both internally and externally, was the idea of digital exhaust.
