Exciting news for our upcoming CABS Roundtable. CABS and the Roundtable Program team are excited to announce a new multi-year title partnership agreement with CPA Canada! Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) has entered a two-year partnership with The Canadian Association of Business Students (CABS). CPA Canada will be the title sponsor of the 2016 and 2017 annual CABS Roundtable Conferences led by the CABS volunteer, not-for-profit organization. The week-long CABS Roundtable conference brings together business students who represent each business school’s student commerce society. The conference acts as an institution for the transition between the incumbent and outgoing teams with their executive-elect successors. Introducing Brendan Warren, incoming Vice President, Events, for the 2017 fiscal year! Born inSaskatoon, Saskatchewan, and growing up just outside of Calgary, Brendan has served for 2 years on the University of Lethbridge’s Management Students’ Society in addition to 2 years of competition in JDC West. Please help us welcome Meg Dietrich, Director of Marketing Strategy, for the CABS 2017 Fiscal Year! Megan’s home is located in Ayer, Ontario but is soon moving to Kitchener for her workplace. Megan has worked incredibly hard to have just graduated from the University of Guelph, Bachelor of Commerce Program specialized in Management Economics and Finance. Megan was involved in the University of Guelph‘s College of Business and Economics Students’ Association (CBESA) for her last two years of University before graduating, in the roles of an Events Manager (Director Role) and Director of Marketing (Executive Role). Calling Pickering, Ontario her home, Michelle lived in Guelph, Ontario during her time at the University of Guelph pursuing a career in marketing & advertising. She brings with her a diverse range of student leadership experience from her roles with the University of Guelph Marketing Society (2nd Year Brand Ambassador, Corporate Relations Manager, Website Manager) and the College of Business and Economics Students’ Association (Market Research/Social Media Manager, Vice President, External Affairs).
